♦ Question
Q3 What are the differences between an analog switch and a matrix switch?
♦ Answer
A3

<Analog switch>

-

Since the resolution is determined by the analog-type resistance film, an analog switch can be placed in an arbitrary position in units of one dot.  Enlarging and reducing a switch is also performed dot by dot.

-

Do not press two analog switches at the same time.  (Pressing together with a function switch, however, is allowed.)

  <Matrix switch>
     * A matrix switch must be placed along the switch grid.  Enlarging and reducing a matrix switch are also based on the switch grid.
     * Pressing two matrix switches at the same time is allowed.
